Hi, I’m Alinda Byamukama — a legal associate turned web developer focused on building tools that simplify processes and improve access to services.

My background in women’s rights advocacy taught me how to break down complex information and design for real-world impact.

Today, I’m applying those same principles to web development — designing clean user interfaces in Figma, building frontend features in React.js, and contributing backend services using Django and FastAPI.

I’m passionate about creating accessible, user-friendly applications that empower people to achieve their goals. When I’m not coding, you can find me reading about the latest tech trends, exploring new places, or enjoying a good cup of coffee.

Warehouse and Inventory Management System

In collaboration with Agripoint Initiatives Ltd, Grain Council Uganda and Refactory, my team and I spent our Refactory Bootcamp internship solving the problem presented to us. We developed a system designed for the management of grain warehouses in Uganda.

Developed a web application using React.js and Django REST Framework. Designed a responsive UI with Figma. Conducted user testing and gathered feedback for continuous improvement.

Miniblog API

This is a simple blogging API built using the Django web framework and Django REST framework during the Tunga Impact Academy Python Backend Development bootcamp.

It allows users to create, read, update, and delete blog posts, providing a basic platform for content management and publication. The application is designed with RESTful API endpoints to facilitate seamless integration with a React frontend or used as a learning tool for API design.
